I am a licensed professional engineer specializing in energy assessment/planning and mechanical/HVAC design. I strive to help campuses, buildings, and facilities to provide comfortable and productive built environments while achieving energy efficiency and sustainability goals. I am motivated by advancing the arts and sciences of HVAC&R, and I believe energy conservation is an ethic.

I have been a Project Subcommittee Voting Member of ASHRAE 90.1 Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings. I am a member of TC7.6 (Building Energy Performance) and TC7.9 (Building Commissioning). I currently serve as ASHRAE Region I Vice Chair and Central New York Chapter President Elect.

Energy experience: energy master planning, energy assessment and modeling, sustainable building consulting, renewable energy assessment, life cycle cost analysis, commissioning and existing building commissioning, and measurement and verification (M&V). Mechanical design experience: HVAC/Plumbing and process design, district heating and cooling planning, system selection and optimization, equipment sizing and specification, and controls and building automation system.
